Risk

“Cinderella walked on broken glass, Sleeping beauty let her whole life pass by, Belle fell in love with a beast, Pocahontas risked her life for a feast, Jasmine could have had anyone but she chose a poor man, and Ariel, she walked on land.”

Many people hate fairytales because fairytales make us believe in happily-ever-afters; fairytales make unhappiness seem unreal. And Disney's the one making us fall for this. No matter what those people think, i still think i love Disney, as much as ever.

And no Disney didn't gave us one sided 'only positive' picture. It's the people that regard the stories as blissful ones just because of the happy endings. They think that those girls are blessed with a prince on the day they are born and the princesses just have to sit around and shake legs waiting for the day the prince materialize in front of their eyes. But i've come to realise that in every fairytale-like movie, every girl took a risk, in the name of love.

Why don't people ever credit the girls for what they did and instead go green with jealousy of their 'good' fortune?

So how would we ever know we won't have our own happily-ever-after if we stop believing in love? Everyone's got their only exception, and i hope i'm correct by thinking that i've found mine. (: Seems so unreal at such a young age, but only time can tell. Anw, i'm an optimist for life but such a terrible cynic for love. HAHAHA. But no people, don't stop believing in love!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish everyone luck in finding their happy endings, and don't forget to take the initiative if you need to. Remember the story about the Disney princesses (: We're all prince and princesses. And we deserve our prince/princess. Good luck Earthlings!

'Cause you are, my only exception.
